Il Tavolino's Cuisine

Il Tavolino celebrates Italian cuisine with taste and simplicity. From Milanese-style cutlet to ossobuco with risotto, from mondeghili to Mediterranean preparations, each dish is made from fresh and selected ingredients, with meat among the house specialties, chosen from the finest farms. The pizzas follow the Neapolitan tradition, with long-leavened dough and selected flours, while salads and light options complete a rich and versatile menu, accompanied by an extensive wine list.

About us

This venue is characterized by authenticity and hospitality: the atmosphere is charming, the staff kind, friendly and attentive, and above all we ate very well! We opted for traditional Milanese dishes (saffron risotto and mondeghili, typical meatballs that were truly delicious). We also had two exquisite appetizers: zucchini flowers with ricotta and the unmissable eggplant rolls with raisins and pine nuts. For dessert, chocolate lava cake with warm center and ice cream. Everything of excellent quality. I recommend it.

Very refined restaurant near Central Station. In the area, the choice ranges from tourist restaurants often under foreign management, international chain fast food or high-level establishments where in addition to the location and more sophisticated culinary offerings, more substantial prices must be considered. Il Tavolino belongs to this latter category where a very refined location is combined with a very well-stocked wine cellar and a varied culinary offering ranging from meat dishes, fish, traditional cuisine to pizzas.... Attentive service and a special mention to the Fassona Tartare.

We went to this restaurant with the Boscolo voucher: unlike other restaurants they did not make any fuss, on the contrary they were very kind. The food was truly delicious and abundant. We struggled to finish everything that was included. At the end we had two sorbets, off the menu, and at the checkout the owner offered them to us. Highly recommended place where we will definitely return without a voucher. The atmosphere and service were impeccable
